KELOWNA-From the veggies grown in our province’s rich, fertile soil to the fresh seafood from our waters, British Columbia is a foodie destination and your taste buds are soon going to be awakened to the best that B.C. has to offer.
The Province and the BC Restaurant and Food Services Association (BCRFSA) are proud to present the second annual Buy BC: EAT DRINK LOCAL campaign. This month-long event, held in May, is all about providing diners the opportunity to sample innovative, tasty cuisine, B.C. style.
Buy BC: EAT DRINK LOCAL connects local farmers, ranchers and growers with restauranteurs and chefs who carefully develop feature menus highlighting locally grown and processed food and drinks. Participating restaurants throughout the province are showcasing B.C. food and beverage products on their menus all month long, giving consumers a delicious opportunity to try local, seasonal and sustainable food grown right here in our Province.
#BuyBC represents a wide range of fresh tasting, high-quality agriculture and seafood products that are grown, harvested, raised and processed locally by British Columbians all over the province. As British Columbians, we all share in a collective sense of pride for the variety of products that come from our very own soil and waters.
