Pumpkin season is here
Fall means one thing – pumpkin! Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin pie, pumpkin soup – the list goes on.
Pumpkins are grown in BC throughout fall from September to November, a perfect treat for when the weather turns colder. You can not only buy plenty of pumpkin themed treats throughout the season, but you can also visit pumpkin patches around the province.
A fall field blanketed in orange is a sure sign that you’ve located a pumpkin patch – and they’re to be found the length and breadth of the province.
The Chilliwack Corn Maze & Pumpkin Farm not only sells pumpkins and gourds, but as the title suggests, provides fun for the whole family with a corn maze, picnic area, animal displays and jumping pillow. Check for a similar entertainment in your area.
There are too many options to choose from! What’s your favourite pumpkin recipe for Autumn?
